Trust & Resilience: Building Stronger More Resilient Teams

Trust is built through consistent actions, honest communication, respect, and a willingness to invest in and support others. Resilience helps employees respond constructively to pressure, mistakes, adversity, and change. Trust Building and Resilience Development begins with empowering staff through clear expectations, accepting input, delegation, and providing the resources people need to succeed. Participants then explore transparent communication, including verbal and non-verbal communication, honest feedback, and avoiding workplace gossip. Keeping promises is addressed through organization, motivation, tracking commitments, and avoiding overcommitment and under-delivery. The course also explores different personality types, including the Leader, Analytical, Amiable, and Expressive. Participants will develop respect for differences in position, opinion, time, strengths, and weaknesses. Stress management covers exercise, balanced diet, sleep, and working under pressure. Participants then explore ways to develop positive relationships through getting to know colleagues, managing boundaries, collaboration, and appreciation. The course addresses overcoming adversity by recognizing and fixing mistakes, evaluating improvements, and avoiding repeated mistakes. Change acceptance and management focuses on keeping the end goal in mind, optimism, surrounding yourself with like-minded people, and rewarding yourself. Finally, participants explore staying motivated through cognitive, emotional, and compassionate approaches.
