Office Health & Safety: Creating a Healthier and Safer Workplace

A Safe and healthy workplace can support employee well-being and productivity. Office Health and Safety helps participants understand common illnesses that may affect the workplace, including colds, influenza, pneumonia, sore throat and strep throat, conjunctivitis, and norovirus or viral gastroenteritis. Participants will explore how these illnesses spread, recognize common symptoms, and understand treatment and prevention approaches. The course also addresses practical office cleaning measures, appropriate workplace options when employees are sick, and the development, communication, evaluation, and revision of an Emergency Response Plan.
