Employee Recruitment helps participants understand the recruitment process from beginning to end. Participants will explore recruitment challenges and trends, sourcing candidates, defining requirements, job analysis, job descriptions, recruitment interviews, and testing. The course also introduces the G.R.O.W. Model, goal areas, SMART goals, and productivity journals. Participants will examine different interview formats, including phone, traditional, situational, and stress interviews, as well as direct, non-direct, hypothetical, situational, and behavioral descriptive questions. Participants will learn to recognize potential selection biases such as the expectancy effect, primacy effect, and stereotyping. The course also covers background checks, appropriate questioning, making offers, negotiation, orientation, retention, and measuring recruitment results through cost breakdowns, employee quality, recruiter effectiveness, and fine tuning.
