Employee Motivation: Inspire Engagement & Better Performance

Keeping employees motivated requires more than offering rewards or incentives. People are motivated by different needs, personalities, goals, and workplace experiences, making it important for leaders to understand what drives their employees. Employee Motivation introduces participants to several approaches for understanding and improving motivation in the workplace. Participants will explore Herzberg's Theory of Motivation, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Object-Oriented Theory, Reinforcement Theory, and Expectancy Theory. The course also examines how personality can influence motivation. Participants will identify different personality types and explore motivators that may work for different individuals. Participants will learn how to connect goals with motivation, set SMART goals, evaluate and adapt goals, and build their own motivational plan. The course also explores creating a motivational organization and job, addressing individual and team morale issues, and responding when an entire company becomes demotivated. Finally, participants will explore their own personal motivators, learn how to maximize them, and develop practical approaches for creating a more motivated and productive workplace.
